Normal sized stapler for size comparison.

My first laptop, bought in 1999 when I retired. I still remembering running back to the old office with it in hand, just long enough for those who knew how much I wanted one to smile with me! The battery has seen better days, but last I tried the laptop still worked — Windows 98 — and all. . . No USB ports, sigh, And I had to lug around the two drives. . . and the 8 inch screen meant a lot of scrolling side to side, even back then! I loved it, it is my ‘baby’. . . but as you can see I let it collect dust, replaced first by a desktop (given to our son and daughter-in-law) and then to my 12″ iBook G4. I keep saying I will see if a computer genius can update it enough that I could use it for my novel. . . (It has MS Word.)

Kind of like those of you still typing on a typewriter, but I can backspace and edit a LOT easier!! And I do a LOT of backspacing. (OK, so it is not really an antique, but it may as well be!

Need I say more?

Yes! No bad luck for me, I accept only good luck in my life. (After all, this should have been in the trash in November, and instead it was here to make my blogging easier this morning. . . )

I had a photo, posted it, took it down. . . I can’t do it. . .not fair to post mine if I can’t stomach looking at anyone else’s. . . Will return to hunt photos next week!

Have a great day!

Wild night with a camera and lots of dips and bumps in the road

I just came home, late, walked around 4 hours at an RV show, then walked around a store over an hour, went to post all the comments on the Photo Hunt, and got distracted and hit the wrong %$&^%^&* key and rejected all 5 comments…didn’t realize it until it came up and said I had just rejected them all. I am so sorry, I had only read part of them. . . and I have no idea who was nice enough to stop by. . . Guess that is what I get for being too impatient to wait until tomorrow. . . What a crummy end to a great day!

I went with simple technology. . . modifying the world to suit our own purposes.
