I had to cut Dale Ellen from the picture, as I have lost track of her and have no permission to post her picture — and she wore her beer cans quite well, too! We were quite the about the last I ever sewed, lol. And no, we did not drink the beer… we left that to others to do. Not that I wouldn’t now had they not ruined beer cans as curlers by changing the style of can…. Rotten to us, those companies were. . . .

Dale Ellen where are you???? Six Degrees of separation, millions of bloggers — hmmm.

Photo taken in St. Petersburg, FL. Please, do not use without permission. Thank you!

Looks like an average ice cream cone perhaps? Trust me, it is not. Leon has very large hands and he LOVES ice cream and this was a lot even for him. Found this wonderful ice cream at a road side vegetable market - and yes, that is a suede jacket he is wearing — He had to bundle up and sit in the car to eat it, too cold that day outside, still winter, and North of us — but nothing was keeping him from that ice cream. We had gotten there just after closing last time to see people with normal hands dwarfed by their ice cream cones.. . . definitely drew attention to the market.

Spring ‘07

I know there are two distinct factions out there about this.I prefer to let them go wild, but I can understand why people with well-manicured lawns would prefer otherwise.

Wordless Wednesday blog roll will be added again to this blog this week.

The Tacoma Narrows Bridge, WA. This is not a current photo, I believe I took it in late 2005. I loved seeing the construction, but don’t like narrow bridges, especially ones that have those signs warning of cross winds and the like. Look at the traffic! That is probably the day we were over an hour late for a Thanksgiving dinner because of accidents ahead of us. They waited for us, now that is a host and hostess!

Yes, some of you have seen this one before, not sure if you saw it cropped though. That is Leon in those jeans behind the tulip.

Happy Anniversary, Leon. . . You survived 33 years with me (well, on the first, you will have.) So, I suppose congratulations on your patience are in order, too, but I will leave that up to the others to say.
